Devised and narrated by former BBC and ITV newscaster, Martyn Lewis, and created by award winning producer, Charles Thompson, Your Big Day uses the latest technology to deliver direct to your mobile, tablet or desktop crafted, ‘time capsule’ videos covering the days, months and years of the past 100 years.

Sir Martyn Lewis CBE

One of Britain’s best known and most loved television reporters and newscasters with over 30 years in television journalism, Martyn is back to bring us the news and events that happened on Your Big Day through time. Millions of Britons remember Martyn as the newsreader who brought us some of the great historical news landmarks of our age, from the Falklands war and the fall of the Berlin wall to the death of Princess Diana. Martyn anchored every mainstream news programme on both ITV and BBC, including News At Ten and the Six O’Clock News, as well as the primetime police series Crimebeat, on BBC One, and the news quiz Today’s The Day, on BBC Two. Since leaving prime time broadcasting for a career in business, Martyn has become a champion for Britain’s charities, for which he was awarded a knighthood in the 2016 Queen’s New year Honours list.
